Why these numbers
Credible, not cheap.
The Australian market for senior Azure consulting sits at A$1,800–A$3,000 per day for independents. Big 4 and tier-1 boutiques charge A$2,800–A$4,500 commercially but stack project managers and junior architects on top.
Tech Design Concept is a Principal-only boutique with regulated-industry experience. The Principal rate sits alongside tier-1 panel pricing but delivers a named senior practitioner - no pyramid, no hand-offs. The Senior engineer rate exists for defined execution work where a Principal isn't warranted.
If your engagement fits a productised offer, take it. You'll get more value, a clearer scope, and a fixed price. The day rates are the escape hatch - not the default.

Are the prices GST inclusive?
No. All prices are ex GST, invoiced fortnightly. Fixed-price offers invoice on their own milestones.
Is there a minimum engagement?
Yes. Strategic advisory has a 1-day minimum; principal architect work has a 5-day minimum. There is no hourly billing at all.
Should we take a productised offer or day rates?
If your engagement fits a productised offer, take it: clearer scope, fixed price, more value. Day rates are the escape hatch for work that genuinely doesn't fit a package.
